We just raised $700k with our customers!

We announce today the closing of a series-A round with our customers, entrepreneurs and employees. The round was led by Groupe Revue Fiduciaire.You can read our press release related to the round.

To highlight a bit the process behind, we spent about 6 months to draw attention, pitch people, arrange the legal documents, keep everyone on the same page and dry the ink on the papers.

As we had more intentions that the amount we were looking for, we selected our investors based on objective criteria:

  • Customers first ! Investors who are customers of the solution are great sponsors: they enjoy the product and are well positioned to give us valuable feedbacks and development insights.
  • Employees second ! In these times it is not so easy to retain talented employees. Until now, keeping our experts is our top priority. With a so small team, each loss can put the company in jeopardy. In this round, 100% of our employees contributed with a maximum effort.
  • Complementary skills and market reach: as a young company, we dramatically need people onboard who can think out of the box, bring their experience and their contacts on the market.

To cut a long story short, each entrepreneur who needs external funding has to keep in mind that the main risk with such a process is that it keeps you out of the sales field. R&D; is not annoyed by that time but customer acquisition rate is always impacted.
Now we are back on the battlefield where we feel the real value of our project: if the solution demo stops driving the “wow” effect, it is not worth financing it!
